It can be really difficult to keep materials like construction paper, glue, and scissors neatly organized during and after an art lesson. Fortunately, there are plenty of activity table designs that can help you teach organizational skills, while keeping your classroom relatively tidy. First, search for a sturdy table that doesn’t require lots of maintenance. In other words, avoid tables made from materials like solid wood, which would need polishing and sanding. Colorful plastic tables are usually a good option. Then, make sure that the activity tables have plenty of storage space, in the form of drawers or cabinets. These storage spaces need to be large enough to store craft materials, and children should be able to open and close them easily. Finally, be sure that a number of children can sit comfortably at each table, to encourage them to share materials while they work. With the right activity tables, art lessons will become more organized and more pleasant for everyone involved.
